The Venturer approaches the finish line  The Venturer crosses the finish line thus ending the driving portion of the Tour. Mike Strizki, project manager, breathes a sigh of relief now that he's done driving.  Press coverage was abundant for the day in Washington D.C. 
Senator Lautenberg stops by to see how the car works.  The Capitol building provides a nice backdrop for the display in D.C.  Students were able to provide their viewpoints for the local media.   Here a cameraman from NBC films the Genesis.
